KIT DON'T LISTEN TO THE SUN

kit is a Manchester-based ambient electronic musician who brews spacey vocals with circulatory synthesiser patterns that breathe gentle tones and slow pulses. Sombre and eerie, her music is an intimate expression that's gentle on the ears. Following her the instrumental track 'Venus' released back in July is new song 'don't listen to the sun'. Like the dense lines of sedimentary rock, a multi-layered stack of arpeggiated synths open the track. It spans from the bold bass notes at the very bottom, to the sparkly high notes whose crystal quality glimmers in the sunlight. Taking on some thickness too, her vocals gleam with chorus and delay, allowing them to mingle with the track: "you could have it all, you could have it if you want it..."
